The Kolbe property has several buildings on it. There are 19 single and 2 shared rooms with en-suite shower/toilet facilities. Each room is equipped with a single bed, cupboard, desk, chair and a book case. There is a large communal kitchen where students cook and share meals. Each student is allocated cupboard space in the kitchen and two students share a fridge/freezer in an area just off the kitchen.
There is a large lounge/TV room with the full DSTV package where students gather to study and share in some free time. There is also a large, well stocked library which also doubles as a student meeting area.
Kolbe is surrounded by beautiful spacious gardens where students gather for braais, a bit of sport or meditation. There is an access gate at the top of the property offering students a short walk to all campus facilities. All supermarkets, restaurants and takeaway outlets are a short, safe, 80 metre walk from the main gate.
